EDI is an accredited Awarding Body and leading international education company with a wide range of products and services including vocational and professional qualifications both within the UK and internationally through LCCI, Goal online assessments for schools, approved training programmes for employers, an electronic assessment delivery system, electronic portfolio package and specialist business broadband service.

Through continued investment in new products, efficient customer administration systems and our staff, we will continue to drive organic growth in the UK and over 100 international markets.

In the UK we will continue the strategy of growing market share within the vocational qualifications market, increasing the number of school customers and expanding the number of customers for the range of EDI support services. The key customer groups for growth are corporate customers, private training providers, colleges of further education and schools. In the corporate market the unique selling point for EDI is that we have a model that assists in defining the staff learning and development proposition, identifying ‘fundable’ qualifications and accrediting employers’ own programmes to deliver their business objectives. This can be delivered directly and through our private training provider and college of further education partners. Additionally, we are able to consult with customers to transform enhanced skills into marketing propositions.

In international markets the strategy of increasing the number of new markets will continue along with the drive to increase the number of multinational corporate customers, and to manage these customers in a coordinated way across national boundaries. We have an established model for accrediting international qualifications that enables swift delivery to deliver business benefit for our partners.
