ISO Accreditation - March 25 2008
Education Development International plc (`EDI` or `the Company`), the leading provider of educational qualifications and assessment services has achieved accreditation of its operating systems, against the ISO9001/2000 standard, through Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.
Over the past 12 months the management and staff of EDI have undertaken a major programme to review and document all of the Company`s operating processes to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness in supporting customers. The achievement of ISO accreditation is an important milestone and provides a sound base for the Company`s continuous improvement programme.

Education Development International plc ('EDI' or the 'Company') announces that it has today been notified that Richard Price, Chairman and Non-Executive Director, today purchased 200,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 42.5 pence per Ordinary Share.
