Ioan has recently joined EDI as Further Education Strategy Advisor,
having retired as Principal of Warwickshire College. He has led three
colleges in a 25 year career as an FE College Principal.

I joined EDI because they are very different from other Awarding Organisations. We focus on values, learners and success rates,
and working in partnership results in higher achievements, cost
savings and growing revenues from employer engagement.
A college can benefit from our successes in working with
companies such as Virgin Media, Boots Opticians
and Sainsbury’s.

Beej Kaczmarczyk

As the senior consultant at Sector Training, part of the EDI group,
Beej provides the leadership on:

• Consultancy services for FE colleges including planning and costing provision, organisational restructuring and mergers.
• Advisory services for FE colleges to maximise funding, post-16
  provision, curriculum reforms and key issues affecting vocational
  subject areas.
• Training services for in-house programmes on leadership and
  management, understanding the funding formulae and improving
  the quality of teaching and learning.

During my 36 years in FE, I have been successful in using my specialist knowledge and experience to support and advise people to make the right decisions at the right time about planning, resource, allocation and quality improvement for their businesses.
