EDI is accredited by the UK regulatory authorities to award over 370 vocational qualifications and quality assure over 400 training programmes. EDI’s expertise is in quality assuring work-based training programmes, working closely with over 1600 customers that include training organisations, further education colleges and employers.
EDI’s vocational qualifications are developed in collaboration with industry and used by students and employers as a benchmark for practical skills and quality. They include new Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) qualifications, National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs), Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs), Technical Certificates and Apprenticeships in the following areas:

Please note that EDI’s qualifications are currently being redeveloped for the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) - the new system for recognising and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This is replacing the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) from 1 January 2011 and affects NVQs, VRQs, and Technical Certificates.
